I have a confession to make.
We love our customers.
…
I clearly realize how that sounds.
“We sell you stuff, but it’s not all about the money. Our priorities are caring, sharing, worrying (in a good way), and bla-bla-bla. Wanna buy more now”?
Every time I meet a confession of the kind, I can’t (and in most cases I can see no reason why I would want to) get rid of the feeling that those companies striving to expose their warm feelings for the customers consider the declaration of love rather as a tradition than as an actual opportunity of delivering a message.
“Ok, I’m your customer and you “love” me. Now what”?
The expression has become irreversibly hackneyed bloody ages ago. However, my opinion is that there is a somewhat righteous way for a company to say it. Although, it involves a rather serious responsibility:
if you speak of love, you have to be fully aware of what you actually mean.
If you want to summon people to buy your product just because you are so nice and caring, there are tons of other possible and naturally more appropriate lines to express that. Leave love alone; the word has been disregarded too often for you to make it lose another piece of its value.
Albeit, if you wish to say that you are literally possessed with an idea of delivering new cool solutions to your clients (present and future) and you are ready to prove your words with the best of your products and services, then under certain conditions the way you feel about your customers might be bestowed upon with the name of love.
So, I regard it to be my honor to declare it once again: we love our customers.
What supports the declaration this time is an announcement I’m truly glad to make: here comes the
170 hour long Handy Backup Black Friday!
Ever wanted Black Friday to be a couple of hours longer? Here goes the 150 hours longer one!
Call me preconceived, but isn’t it a nice opportunity to explore how much sense our love confessions make?
