When companies award outstanding young people with their scholarships, it is reasonably regarded to be quite a casual thing nowadays. Why would one think that this year’s Novosoft scholarship to a mathematician student is something special?
Besides developing the coolest backup soft (sounds inappropriately advertising? What about “the COOLEST backup soft; come and prove it isn’t so if you dare!”?), Novosoft LLC is known for driving social campaigns. It particularly supports and sometimes even founds Mathematics and IT college faculties.
As a part of the social activity, a couple of weeks ago Novosoft presented its scholarship to a student of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty (MMF) of Novosibirsk State University (NSU), Novosibirsk, Russia, where several people from the company’s top management come from. So what?
